U.S. Hits Energy Milestone in Iraq

The United States of America hit a new milestone in Iraq. Electricity production Iraq recently hit a three year low with most residents near Baghdad getting electricity for only three or four hours a day. Most Iraqis are forced to hand wash clothes and hot showers are surely out of the question.

Is there any wonder why we can't win over the citizens of Iraq? What would you do if your country was taken over and you only got electricity three hours a day. Would you be all smiles? never mind the $4 billion that we have paid to rebuild their power grid. There are fundamental flaws in Iraq that will prevent us from winning the support of the citizens and the war in general.

Some people have started to compare the war in Iraq to the war in Vietnam. If we are not careful this new war will make Vietnam look like a win. We need change and we need it fast. Everyday is just another recruiting day for anti-American groups world-wide and we are doing nothing about it. If anything we are giving our enemies more ammunition to use against us.

Senator frist criticized Democrats for pushing issues to censure Bush. He says it is an effort to hurt the president in a time of war. If things stay the course in Iraq we will never get to complain about a president, because we will have troops there forever trying win this war. It is time to make serious changes to the strategy in Iraq and if President Bush can't see this, then maybe it is time for him to go.
