Cut and Run Democrats

I am a little confused about Democrats being labeled as weak and wanting to "cut and run." If anyone seems to be running it is the Republicans. They can't even figure out what they are doing there.

Initially they said that Iraq was supporting terrorists. Then it was proven to not be true. Republicans then cut and ran with "Saddam has WMD." As the U.N. had said for years this turned out to not be true. So the Republicans cut that and ran with "we are liberating a country from a terrible leader." Well, we did that, didn't we? So "Mission Accomplished", Right? Maybe that wasn't good enough, so they cut it and ran with "We are building a democratic country." Mission accomplished again. They had elections and have a government. Mission accomplished, right?

This also turned out to not be good enough. So now there is this Al-Queda in Iraq. We now have to get rid of them. Who cares if they are not threatening America or have ever tried to do anything but get us to leave Iraq. They are against Iraq, our fifty-third state. We must defend them. In case you are wondering #51 is Kuwait, #52 is Afghanistan and #53 is Iraq.

In all actuality, the war in Iraq is still ongoing mainly to protect our influence over Iraq oil supplies and also to distract from the fact that Bin Laden is still a free man. As long as Bin Laden is free our country will be at risk and we will face a clear and present danger. The Bush administration knows this and still does nothing to catch him.

The Bush and Bin Laden families have been good friends and business partners for decades. There is a unwritten agreement between the two families to not pursue Osama while Bush is in office. If he is caught, it would create a huge disturbance between the two families that would probably be irreconcilable. This is why Osama Bun Laden is still free and why Bush will not authorize a real force to catch him.
