The Bush Administration - Their New Approach
The Bush administration is retooling for a new approach to domestic and foreign policy that they feel will help our country withdrawal from Iraq, regain voter confidence at home and promote good will towards foreign countries. This new policy is being tested on a smaller scale at home and if all goes well it should be implemented nationally in July or August.
Mississippi, a strong Republican state, has made sex toys illegal in their state. Before you go thinking this is crazy, there is good policy to back it up. If not the Republican party would not be embracing it in three states already, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas.
The middle class in America has been declining for the last four years of George W. Bush's presidency. This will prevent Americans from spending their money on these "toys" and allow them to save more money, a direct boost to the middle class.
Next, there is the battery issue. As a result of this ban, reduced battery sales will also contribute to more savings for consumers and reduce their energy dependence. This is good environmental policy that will also help curb energy consumption in the United States. It will also show the world that we Americans are serious about curbing pollution that is leading to global warming.
Lastly, we are then going to gather up all the "sex toys" and give them to Iraqis. This should keep them busy enough that we can withdrawal our troops and let the new Iraq government take over without anyone knowing. If this goes well, we hope that in a matter of time all Arabs will forget that we ever went to Iraq and that 30,000+ Iraqis have died there since we invaded their country.
I support this plan and I am glad to see that Republicans are passing good legislation, and that they definitely have their priorities straight.
